Divyanka Tripathi on Bigg Boss: Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 19 is all set to begin soon, and fans are already buzzing with excitement.
Several celebrity names have been making rounds, reportedly confirmed to be participating in the show.
Recently, one such name was that of TV’s beloved actress Divyanka Tripathi.
Rumors suggested that she might participate in the show along with her husband Vivek Dahiya.
However, chances of this happening seem quite slim, especially since Divyanka herself had stated in an interview last year that she would not be a part of the show.
Despite the ongoing buzz about her entry in Bigg Boss 19, Divyanka had clearly denied these reports.
Divyanka Tripathi Says No to Bigg Boss for This Reason
One of the highest-paid actresses on Indian television, Divyanka Tripathi had made a strong statement last year regarding her participation in Bigg Boss 18.
She revealed that even though the makers offered her a hefty fee to join the show, she turned it down—and also explained her reasons.
In fact, Divyanka has been receiving offers to join Bigg Boss for several years now, but she has consistently declined them. The reason, as she shared, lies with her family.
In an interview with a media outlet, Divyanka revealed that her family does not want her to be a part of Bigg Boss.
She explained, “There are a lot of fights and conflicts on the show, and my family doesn’t want me to go through that kind of experience.”
She further added, “Your friends and family don’t want you to do something that might affect your dignity. Why would I do something that could lower my respect? That’s why I never want to be part of the show.”
Nonetheless, Divyanka’s fans would certainly love to see her on Bigg Boss someday.
