SSC CHSL Notification 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2025.

The SSC has also announced the examination dates for other recruitment exams such as CGL, CPO, JE, and JHT along with the CHSL 2025 notification.
SSC CHSL 2025 Application Process:
The entire application process for SSC CHSL 2025 will be conducted online. Candidates need to register through the official SSC website.
Application Start Date: June 23, 2025 (expected)
Last Date to Apply: August 1, 2025
Application Fee: ₹100 for General Category; No fee for SC/ST, Women, and PwD candidates
Staff Selection Commission 2025 Exam Dates:
Tier-1 Exam Date: September–October 2025 (tentative)
Other Exams: Dates for SSC CGL, CPO (SI), Junior Engineer (JE), and Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) have also been announced.
Expected Number of Vacancies:
The total number of vacancies for SSC CHSL 2025 has not yet been declared.
However, based on previous years, it is estimated that approximately 4,000 to 5,000 vacancies may be available.
These will be distributed across ministries and government departments.
In 2024: 3,712 vacancies
In 2023: Over 4,500 vacancies
Staff Selection Commission CHSL 2025 Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board. For some DEO posts, Mathematics as a subject may be mandatory.
Age Limit:
18 to 27 years as of August 1, 2025.
SC/ST: 5-year age relaxation
OBC: 3-year age relaxation
PwD: 10-year age relaxation
Nationality:
Must be an Indian citizen. Citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, and some other countries may also be eligible under specific conditions.
Staff Selection Commission CHSL 2025 Selection Process:
The selection process will be conducted in two stages:
1. Tier-1 (Online Objective Test):
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Sections: General Intelligence, English, Mathematics, and General Awareness
Total Marks: 100
Time: 1 hour
2. Tier-2 (Skill/Typing Test):
Qualifying in nature
Typing test for LDC/JSA
Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) for DEO
