In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Gaurav Khanna was asked whether he had ever received an offer to be on Bigg Boss.
He replied with a “yes,” and added, “I’m scared of drama.” Then laughing, he jokingly added, “Also, the money was less.”
Gaurav clarified he said that in jest. He admitted that he’s been offered Bigg Boss several times because of his long-standing presence in the TV industry.
“Bigg Boss has approached everyone in the industry,” he said. “But I’m not sure if I would want to do it in the future or not.”
From his response, it was quite evident that Gaurav may never accept a Bigg Boss offer.
Gaurav Khanna became especially popular for playing Anuj in the serial Anupamaa.
However, after a time leap in the story, producer Rajan Shahi wrote off his character by killing him off.
To this day, fans continue to plead on social media for Gaurav’s return to Anupamaa.
