In an interview, when asked whether he left the show midway because of an alleged fight with Rupali Ganguly.
The actor responded, “Anuj Kapadia is like a comma for me, not a full stop. Rajan sir hasn’t killed this character — it’s just that right now, there’s no space for him in the story.
He Added: But this is Indian television; here, anyone can return anytime. There are several such examples. Yes, this doesn’t mean that I’m coming back to the show. But never say never.”
Gaurav Khanna says — when the time is right
Speaking about his possible return to Anupama, Actor said, “Why not? It’s one of my most favorite characters. But I feel that every story has its own structure.”
He explained that the structure of this show is a little different, but when the right time comes, he will surely return.
