Karan Kundrra and Isha Malviya at First Copy Special Screening: Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui is all set to make his OTT debut with his first web series First Copy.
The trailer for the series was released a few months ago, and now the special screening of the show saw a gathering of many stars.
The trailer of First Copy gave a glimpse into the piracy business of the 90s, with Munawar portraying the mastermind behind this trade.
Alongside Munawar, the series also features notable actors like Gulshan Grover, Raza Murad, Krystle D’Souza, Saqib Ayub, Ashi Singh, Meiyang Chang, and Inaamulhaq.

In “First Copy”, Munawar Faruqui will be seen in the role of a piracy king. The series takes us back to the era of the 1990s when DVDs were in trend.
According to media reports, Munawar spoke about his role in the series and said, “This is an underdog story which is very close to my heart. Playing the character of Arif took me back to a time when movies were a dream.”
Actress Ashi Singh will be seen playing his wife in the show. First Copy started streaming today, June 20, 2025, on the OTT platform Amazon MX Player.
But before the digital release, the special screening witnessed appearances from several TV stars. Popular television actor Karan Kundrra was spotted at the event.
He looked dashing in a green t-shirt. Also seen with him was Isha Malviya, and the two were seen having a great time together.
Isha Malviya wore a pink outfit. Karan was even seen doing the hook step of Isha’s popular song Shaky Shaky.
The two appeared to be enjoying themselves, and their video from the event has gone viral on social media.
While many fans appreciated their chemistry, some were seen missing Tejasswi Prakash during the occasion.
