Karanveer Mehra Movie: Since winning Bigg Boss 18, Karanvir Mehra hadn’t signed any new project. But now, a big opportunity has come his way.
He has been signed for Silaa, the new film by Omung Kumar — the director known for Mary Kom and Sarbjit.
In this film, he will share the screen with Harshvardhan Rane, known for Sanam Teri Kasam.
Actress Sadia Khateeb, known for The Diplomat, will also be part of the cast.
Karanvir Mehra Movie: Actor Joins Silaa with Harshvardhan Rane
The motion poster of Silaa has been released and was shared by Karanvir Mehra on his Instagram account.
Fans are pouring in with congratulatory comments and excitement. According to some media reports, Karanvir Mehra might be playing a villain in this film.
Omung Kumar’s last film was PM Narendra Modi in 2019, in which Vivek Oberoi played the lead role.
Now, the director is set to bring a romantic-action drama. Although the makers haven’t officially revealed the plot or full title yet, sources suggest it will be an emotional film packed with high-octane action and romance. Harshvardhan Rane and Sadia Khateeb will be seen in lead roles.
Naturally, Karanvir Mehra’s fans are thrilled by the news. One fan wrote, “Oh my God! Can’t wait to see Karanvir back on screen.” Another commented, “Good things take time… so happy for Karanvir!”
Karanvir Mehra has been active in television and films for nearly two decades.
He made his TV debut in 2005 with the show Remix, and gained popularity through shows like Pavitra Rishta, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, and Ziddi Dil Maane Na.
He was also the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 along with Bigg Boss 18. On the big screen, he made his film debut in 2008 with Abhishek Bachchan’s Drona.
He has also appeared in films like Blood Money No One Killed Jessica, Ragini MMS 2, and Mere Dad Ki Maruti.
On OTT platforms, he impressed audiences in shows like Sacred Games 2 (as Rajeev Chawla), Heartbreak Hotel, and Poison 2.
