Yes, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced that voters will now receive their EPICs (Electors Photo Identity Cards) within 15 days of an update in the voter list.

Voter Card Will Be Delivered Within 15 Days
According to the Election Commission, the new system will allow real-time tracking of every step—from the preparation of EPIC by the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) to its delivery by the Department of Posts (DoP).
Voters will also receive SMS notifications at each stage through the DoP.
This means they will stay updated on the status of their voter cards.

A new IT module has been introduced on this platform to implement the system.
This new module will revamp the existing system by managing the workflow and streamlining the entire process.
How to Track Your Voter ID Card Application
If you’ve applied for a Voter ID card, here’s how to check its status:
1. Visit the NVSP (National Voters’ Service Portal).
2. Log in to your account.
3. On the right-hand side, click on Track Application Status.
4. Enter your reference number (received after submitting Form 6 or 6A).
5. Select your state and click Submit.
How to Apply Online for a Voter ID Card
If you don’t have a Voter card yet, don’t worry. You can easily apply online from the comfort of your home:
1. Visit the NVSP website. (You can click directly from the link provided.)
2. Log in using your mobile number and email ID, and enter the captcha code.
3. Create an account using your name, set a password, and confirm it.
4. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
5. Enter your details and log in again using the captcha code and OTP.
6. For new voter registration, click on Fill Form 6.
7. Fill in your personal, contact, and address details.
8. Upload the required documents.
9. Preview your application and click Submit.
